Currently i am using VISTA home basic, i feel it performs very slow when compared to XP. Some may also tell it is the main draw back of VISTA. Actually i struggled when i tried to copy one file from one drive to the other. It takes lots of time to complete copying. Then i found TERACOPY tool, which is used to copy files at very fast. Currently i am using that tool. Sure it is very useful to you also. Below you can see the screen shot of TERACOPY.
